Special thanks to the Varsity Cheer squad for all the spirit they brought to the basketball games. They did an amazing job pumping up our Lions fans and creating an exciting atmosphere at the games all season! The men's Soccer team played a challenging schedule this season to help prepare them for postseason play. Unfortunately, they came up short in the District finals with a tight loss against Highlands Christian in overtime. The team graduates five talented seniors: Josiah Carre, Daniel Milora, Michael Montidoro, Jahlan Paul, and Diego Rey. The high school choir performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City on April 3 as part of the Masterworks Festival Chorus with the New York City Chamber Orchestra. Select schools from around the country make up the choir of 200 voices as they performed “Jubilate Deo” by Dan Forrest and conducted by Dr. Pearl Shangkuan. Dan Forrest was also commissioned to write the arrangement of Great is Thy Faithfulness for Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church’s 60th anniversary last year. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association was held on Friday, March 31! Thirteen boats participated, along with 31 anglers on the drift boat! Special thanks to LPA Co-Chair Christy LaCaria and our Mane Event Team Co-Leaders, Mark Scott and Joe Jernigan, for planning the event and Trae West at Big Dog Tackle for his assistance with logistics and coordinating the weigh-in. ​Dear WA Community, When our girls were little, they loved the movie The Sound of Music. As a result, I’ve watched it more times than I can remember or count. We are excited about the fun-filled summer we’ve planned for our campers in preschool through those going into sixth grade in the fall!  Registration is now open for our Preschool & Elementary Camps and WA Sports Camp.
