During the week of October 24, grades 3–6 participated in Digital T.H.I.N.K. Week, which was led by PREP Principal Dr. Rebekah Owens. The purpose of this week was to help students make thoughtful and positive choices with technology while recognizing that their choices affect their community and themselves. T.H.I.N.K. stands for T (trustworthy), H (helpful), I (inspiring), N (necessary), and K (kind), and students were asked to reflect on whether the choices they were making on the computer reflected these values. The Upper School Student Council led the efforts to collect food and donations for the people who were impacted by Hurricane Ian. WA students and families answered the call and collected over 3,500 items. Along with donations, several students also joined with Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church to serve those in Ft. Myers devasted by Hurricane Ian. Students helped distribute the donations, served meals, and cleaned homes damaged by the storm. ​​Dear WA Community,  It is homecoming week at Westminster Academy. Typically this time-honored tradition is marked by pep rallies, student activities, a home football game, and the return of alumni. This year is no exception as we are excited to welcome home the Class of 1997, the Class of 2002, and the Class of 2012 because family never graduates.
