Few things rival the excitement of WA Lions’ Athletics. From Friday nights under the lights to watch parties cheering on championship basketball, it is an honor to be a part of such a uniquely talented group of student-athletes and teams.
Our student-athletes and coaches commit to seeking excellence through athletics both on and off the fields and courts. Athletics are not only an extension of the classroom but an expression and testimony of our faith in Christ.
With 22 current sports offered, WA has something for every student-athlete. In fact, 2 out of every 3 WA students compete in at least one sport.
Luke 12:48 states, “To him that much is given; much is required.” WA has been abundantly blessed, and the fruit is immeasurable, which only heightens our desire to compete while glorifying God. We are grateful for the support shown toward our student-athletes and coaches by the entire WA community.
The following athletic events are hosted at our main campus in Fort Lauderdale: basketball, swimming, volleyball, and water polo.
