The Westminster Academy Athletic Hall of Honor was established in 2014 to honor the men and women who have made outstanding contributions to the WA Athletic program over the last five decades. Welcome to the 2023–2024 winter athletic season! Below, you will find a list of the winter sport tryout dates and contact information for each coach. Bus transportation will be offered to and from the west campus athletic complex for student-athletes daily and will depart at 3:15 p.m. Every student-athlete must have a completed athletic physical turned in before they try out. We are using the SportsWareOnLine system again this year for athletic physicals. Upper school students heard from renowned author and speaker Tony Reinke in chapel. He addressed technology, cell phones, social media, and their impact on our lives. Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the Christian College Fair. There were 32 Christian colleges from across the nation set up to visit with our students in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers. Often, the college representatives who visit are the ones who are reading through applications, so this opportunity to connect can make a significant impact. We are pleased to announce that Steve Feeley will join us as our new Director of Security in September. Steve was born in Naperville, Illinois, but was raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. He attended Saint Coleman Catholic School and was in the 2nd grade the day it snowed in Florida!  He attended Cardinal Gibbons High School. A year after graduation, he took a job with the Broward Sheriff’s Office in 1989.
