This year’s Homecoming is one for the books. School spirit ran high throughout the week with decorated hallways, dress-up days, and pep rally. Congratulations to the Freshmen class on winning the best Hallway and earning 1st Place for Homecoming Points! The combination of celebrating our legacy and love for our school sent the week to soaring heights. Then, the fun continued at the west campus Athletic Complex. Students in grades 6–12 recently collected 2,215 items consisting of diapers, wipes, and various toiletries for Every Mother’s Advocate. These items will bless single moms and their families who are in need in our community. Charlee Tchividjian, Founder & Executive Director, was blown away by the results of our Collection Drive. EMA is so grateful for our support as they advocate for mothers in crisis and help them achieve lasting stability for their families. Dear WA Community, In this Golden Year, we have the opportunity to look back and celebrate what God has done in and through Westminster Academy. That backward glance also merits a chuckle or two, especially as we see how our school has changed during those five decades. This is rather evident in fashion (thankfully no more polyester leisure suits), technology (think phones and laptops), and even in the campus (in 1971, we held class at the Pompano Beach horse track).
