DJ Gaines named Florida Dairy Farmers 2026 Class 2A Men’s Basketball Player of the Year Westminster Academy celebrates a historic moment in athletics as junior guard D.J. Gaines has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers 2026 Class 2A Player of the Year. He also earned First Team All-County honors from both the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald. Gaines led his team with an outstanding season, averaging 30.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. Since 1992, the Florida Dairy Farmers High School Sports Awards program has recognized over 5,000 of the state’s top athletes and coaches across 30 FHSAA-sanctioned sports....
