DJ Gaines named Florida Dairy Farmers 2026 Class 2A Men’s Basketball Player of the Year Westminster Academy celebrates a historic moment in athletics as junior guard D.J. Gaines has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers 2026 Class 2A Player of the Year. He also earned First Team All-County honors from both the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald. Gaines led his team with an outstanding season, averaging 30.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
