Join us this Friday, August 15, at 6:00 p.m. for the Varsity Football Kickoff Classic and Back-to-School Tailgate at the west campus Athletic Complex. The Lions Varsity Football Team will take on the Somerset Academy Key Lions with the game kickoff at 7:00 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family! Be sure to come hungry—food will be available from the Lions Athletic Club Concessions Stand and a dessert food truck. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted. We are looking forward to another exciting year in athletics at Westminster Academy. We are offering stadium-style box seating in the gymnasium and football stadium to support the Basketball, Cheer, Football, and Volleyball programs. This unique seating is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our athletic programs and provide a comfortable and unique athletic experience for our family and fans. There are 48 box seats in the football stadium and another 48 box seats in the gymnasium. What a finish! In a thrilling 10–9 victory, the Westminster Academy Lions edged out the Mater Lakes Bears to claim the 2025 FHSAA Boys Class 1A Water Polo State Championship, capping off an incredible season with a historic win. The championship game was a true test of teamwork, determination, and heart. With every pass, block, and goal, the Lions showed the strength of their training, the power of their unity, and their commitment to glorifying God through athletics. We are excited to share a remarkable milestone in Westminster Academy athletics. The Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) has announced the Florida Dairy Farmers 2025 Class 2A Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Player of the Year Awards—and for the first time ever, both recipients are from the same school—Westminster Academy! Alex Lloyd and Markeli Jones–Tynes have been honored with this prestigious recognition for their outstanding performance on the court and their leadership as student-athletes.
