21 Oct Middle School & Junior Varsity Volleyball Seasons End In Strong Fashion
The MS Volleyball (Red) team ended their season with a 1st-place finish in the South Florida Middle School League Tournament. On Tuesday, October 12, the team defeated Somerset Miramar in the Semifinal game in two sets and then faced the University School Sharks on Thursday, October 14, where they stole the victory 2–0 after two very tight sets. Congratulations to the Middle School Volleyball team!
The Junior Varsity Volleyball team took second place in a competitive end-of-season tournament hosted by Alonzo Mourning High School. The team captured victories against Hialeah Gardens, Archbishop McCarthy’s freshman team, and Alonzo Mourning before falling short to Archbishop McCarthy’s junior varsity team in the finals. Congratulations to the Lady Lions Junior Varsity Volleyball team on a successful season!
