Lions Athletic Club Golf Tournament Registration is now open for the Lions Athletic Club Golf Tournament presented by Audi Fort Lauderdale on Monday, September 26! The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) is hosting the event at the Coral Ridge Country Club. All proceeds will enhance the WA athletic program, including facilities, equipment, and training, to empower our student-athletes to excel both on and off the field. Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Friday, September 9, at 8:00 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time. Our annual auction, The Golden Ticket, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, was a huge success with gross proceeds of $440,000, setting an all-time high in our 50-year history! This includes $65,000 raised for the new WA branded activity bus. In addition, we received a $50,000 match! The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association has been rescheduled for Friday, April 29, due to weather conditions on the prior date. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. The drift boat is full, however, private boat entry is still available.
