Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Friday, September 9, at 8:00 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time. The LPA serves as the primary means of parental involvement and works to strengthen the home and school link. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association has been rescheduled for Friday, April 29, due to weather conditions on the prior date. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. The drift boat is full, however, private boat entry is still available. The Lions Parent Association (LPA) invites all WA parents to join them! The LPA actively supports the mission of the school by providing opportunities to connect and cultivate relationships, as well as promoting volunteerism and school spirit. Organized into seven teams, the LPA provides flexibility and offers a wide range of opportunities, which vary with regard to interest, skill, and time. The 41st Annual Christmas Boutique & Craft Market presented by the Lions Parent Association will be held Friday, November 5, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Kennedy Fellowship Hall at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church. Guests will have the opportunity to visit our Christmas Cafe and shop at craft and retail booths that feature high-quality, handcrafted, and non-handcrafted gifts.
