The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association will be held on Friday, April 1. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. You may use your own boat or join us on a drift boat that will be available. The Golden Ticket, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, will be held on Friday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. This is the largest fundraising event of the year, so please get involved! Simply provide a letter and acquisition form to a business on behalf of Westminster Academy when you are out shopping, dining, or a patron at a local business. All donations are tax-deductible. Our awesome WA Junior Thespians spent last weekend in Orlando at the Florida State Junior Thespian Festival. These talented 6th–8th-grade students attended performance workshops, then competed in multiple events to showcase their acting, singing, and overall performance abilities. To qualify to attend the State Festival, they first had to compete and receive a high enough score at the District level, which happened locally in November. At that competition, nine of our performance and technical theater “events” scored in that range, so those events are what the students then presented in Orlando.
