This year, nine of our wonderful WA Jr. Thespians earned a spot at the Regional competition, allowing them to compete at the State level.  They worked hard to perfect their different performance pieces, then we submitted them virtually to the State.  That meant our WA middle school students were competing against about 6000 other students in a bid for Excellent and Superior ratings for their work.  They did an amazing job with such tough competition, and our students earned four Superiors at States! We are proud to announce the following results, and we can’t wait to see what they have planned...

We are looking forward to hosting preschool, elementary, and sports camps again this summer. For students entering kindergarten through sixth grade, we are offering a new, exciting program—Camp WA powered by Booster! Booster is well known on our campus and always runs a top-quality program. Westminster Academy is very proud to be the pilot school for expanding the Booster brand to include summer camp. Booster was founded in 2002 by Class of '98 WA alumni, Chris and Lyndie Carneal. Our Varsity Lions Soccer teams both shared successful 2020-2021 seasons highlighted by their District and Regional titles. The teams earned the privilege of hosting their State Semifinal games on Friday, February 26, against The Canterbury School from Fort Myers. Although the Lions came up short, it does not take away from the memorable and impressive seasons they had. The Lady Lions finished their season with a 12-5-2 record with big victories over The King's Academy, Calvary Christian, and the South Florida Heat. Lower School Student Council collected supplies to create 25 boxes containing 295 "joy kits" and 6 boxes of additional supplies for families at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. Each grade was assigned items to bring in such as toiletries, activity books, socks, stickers, board books, crayons, card games, throw blankets, and stuffed animals.
