At Westminster Academy, we encourage the relentless pursuit of excellence in all things. This pursuit is marked with discipline, diligence, and resilience—whether in academics, the arts, or athletics. One mark of this commitment to excellence in athletics is continuing to play at the next level in college. This is especially so when a Division I or Division II institution offers an athletic scholarship and student-athletes sign a National Letter of Intent. We are excited to share that three seniors have signed such letters in recent weeks: Congratulations to… Jaylen Carey as he signed his National Letter of Intent to play basketball...

Congratulations to WA Alumnus Michael A. Taylor from the Class of 2009 for receiving his first Gold Glove Award! We are proud of his work and accomplishments. The Westminster Academy Alumni Association and Athletic Department honored Taylor in February of 2020 by retiring his baseball jersey #3. Never again will another student-athlete represent WA on the baseball field with #3. Previously, the Alumni Association inducted Taylor into Westminster Academy’s Athletic Hall of Honor in 2015. We look forward with excitement as we continue to watch his career! For more information about his recent Gold Glove accomplishment, please visit mlb.com....
