The MS Volleyball (Red) team ended their season with a 1st-place finish in the South Florida Middle School League Tournament. On Tuesday, October 12, the team defeated Somerset Miramar in the Semifinal game in two sets and then faced the University School Sharks on Thursday, October 14, where they stole the victory 2–0 after two very tight sets. Congratulations to the Middle School Volleyball team! The Junior Varsity Volleyball team took second place in a competitive end-of-season tournament hosted by Alonzo Mourning High School. The Westminster Academy Athletic Hall of Honor was established in 2014 to honor the men and women who have made outstanding contributions to the WA Athletic program during our 50-year history. The mighty Lions have been blessed by a distinguished athletic legacy, and we want to recognize and honor some of our exceptional alumni, coaches, and contributors who were instrumental in the success of our athletic program. We loved seeing so many families come out for the Back-To-School Tailgate to support our team! Special thanks to the Lions Parent Association for decorating cars and welcoming families. The Lions Football team kicked off their season with a 52–0 victory over the Boca Christian Blazers on Friday night. The Lions’ offense cruised to over 400 yards of total offense while the defense held tight for a shutout. The Lions will hit the road this Friday to Belle Glade where they will take on the Glades Day School Gators at 7:00 p.m. Keep it up, Lions!...
