Our new school-branded activity bus was showcased at the football game last Friday night, where the varsity Lions won 23–0 over the Bradenton Christian School Panthers in the first game of the regular season! This additional bus will transport students to a variety of off-campus activities and will also serve as a traveling billboard for our school while representing Westminster Academy's standard of excellence! We are grateful for the family who provided a $50K match to encourage generosity for this project, which was chosen as our Annual Auction Heart Raise last spring. Schoolwide Chapels officially kicked off, starting with Lower School Chapel last week. Students had a chance to come together to worship and hear from the first guest speaker Dr. Satterly. Save the date for the 11th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Fusion Powder Coating on Friday, December 2, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch.
