The Festival of the Fine Arts will be a wonderful evening where you can experience a taste of the Fine Arts offered at Westminster Academy! This benefit concert will include our 5th Grade Choir, 4th–8th Grade Drama, High School Drama, Band, Orchestra, Art, Choir, and Broadcasting performances! It will be a delightful time for all ages! Save the date for the 10th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Southern Painting on Friday, December 10, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. Miriam Avila, P.E. Teacher and Assistant Swimming Coach—Coach Avila graduated from Kansas State University with a Master’s Degree in Public Health with an emphasis in physical activity. Coach Avila will conduct P.E. classes for lower school and middle school girls. Originally from Mexico, she is passionate about understanding and educating people about healthy behavior. She is excited to join the WA family and be part of a great Christian community.
