For the second consecutive year, we celebrated 100% giving participation to the Annual Fund from our faculty and staff in August. Building on the example set by our faculty and staff, we will launch a 5-Day Annual Fund Drive tomorrow, October 22, and aim to reach 50% parent participation by the 50th day of school on Thursday, October 28. Register now for the 10th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Southern Painting on Friday, December 10, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate! We are also looking for businesses and families to sponsor the event. This year’s Homecoming is one for the books. School spirit ran high throughout the week with decorated hallways, dress-up days, and pep rally. Congratulations to the Freshmen class on winning the best Hallway and earning 1st Place for Homecoming Points! Students in grades 6–12 recently collected 2,215 items consisting of diapers, wipes, and various toiletries for Every Mother’s Advocate. These items will bless single moms and their families who are in need in our community. Charlee Tchividjian, Founder & Executive Director, was blown away by the results of our Collection Drive. The signature event of our 50th Anniversary, our Golden Gala, is nearing capacity.
