Congratulations to our choir students for their acceptance into the Florida Vocal Association’s 2022 All-State Chorus! The following students competed, auditioned, and achieved this honor: Pauline Baxter, Nola Fontaine, Ben Griswold, Olivia Oropesa, Lawrence Parker, Danny Puce, Madison Sanders, Belen Vera, and Michael White. Their hard work and successful auditions, theory test, and sight-singing exam make these students among the top in our state! Dear WA Community, More than a year ago, as one group met to deal with the challenges of COVID, another part of our team gathered to begin dreaming about our 50th Anniversary Celebration. Both groups understood the significance of Christian education in this cultural moment. That first group of educators resolved to find a way to open our campus because education is fundamentally a relational exchange that is best conducted face to face. The MS Volleyball (Red) team ended their season with a 1st-place finish in the South Florida Middle School League Tournament. On Tuesday, October 12, the team defeated Somerset Miramar in the Semifinal game in two sets and then faced the University School Sharks on Thursday, October 14, where they stole the victory 2–0 after two very tight sets.
