We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. All festivities lead to the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, against Taravella High School. Service is a trait we focus on throughout the school. Our Lower School students had a wonderful opportunity to be a part of blessing students at College Susan Schuenke in Haiti. The Lower School Student Council packed over 300 bags with presents for each student at the school. They also made Gospel bracelets to help share the love of Christ. We are excited to share that the Westminster Academy Lions basketball team has earned the opportunity to participate in the City of Palms Classic held at the Suncoast Credit Union Arena on the campus of Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers, Florida. This fall, our Advancement Team launched our Student Ambassador Program. These high school students serve the office of the Headmaster and the Advancement Team, representing Westminster Academy on campus and in our community. Student ambassadors share the mission and story of our school at various events with current and prospective families. As part of the experience, the student ambassadors were invited by the D.
