Our eighth-grade students recently returned from an incredible trip to Washington, D.C.—a memorable tradition that brings classroom lessons to life while deepening their understanding of our nation’s history and Christian heritage. Led by Civics teacher Mr. Williams, the trip was designed to explore history, civic engagement, and a biblical worldview. Students toured many of our nation’s most significant sites, including the U.S. Capitol, Supreme Court, and Library of Congress, learning firsthand about the foundations of American government. Our fourth-grade students recently enjoyed an unforgettable adventure to St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city. This annual trip provided a unique opportunity to step back in time and experience the rich history they’ve studied in Social Studies throughout the year. During the trip, students explored the historic Castillo de San Marcos, visited a Spanish Mission, climbed the iconic St. Augustine Lighthouse, and even discovered the legendary Fountain of Youth. Each stop brought Florida’s history to life, allowing students to connect classroom lessons with real-world experiences.
