17 Apr Star-Spangled Gala Sets New Record!
What a night at the Star-Spangled Gala! Westminster Academy’s annual dinner auction, presented by Benedetti Orthodontics, was truly one for the record books—raising over $1 million in support of our school.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of a $250,000 matching gift during the Heart Raise for Phase One of The Next Chapter Capital Campaign. In an incredible response, our community not only met the match but surpassed it, raising more than $500,000 for the campaign. In addition, over $600,000 was raised for the Annual Fund—investing in people, strengthening programs, and enhancing places on our campuses. This remarkable generosity demonstrates the power of coming together to support our students and the future of WA.
Under the leadership of Auction Director Sarah Parker, this historic event exceeded all prior records. This success was made possible through the incredible generosity of our community—from local businesses providing in-kind donations to families who helped secure those partnerships to Lower School and PREP parents who contributed class baskets and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to make the evening a success.
