The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) offers WA Parent 2’ x 3’ Banners for $500 for the 2023–24 academic year on the east or west campus. 100% of the proceeds will be used to support athletics. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association was held on Friday, March 31! Thirteen boats participated, along with 31 anglers on the drift boat! Special thanks to LPA Co-Chair Christy LaCaria and our Mane Event Team Co-Leaders, Mark Scott and Joe Jernigan, for planning the event and Trae West at Big Dog Tackle for his assistance with logistics and coordinating the weigh-in. The Lions Parent Association will host a fishing tournament on Friday, March 31. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. You may use your own boat or join us on a drift boat that will be available. It is that time of year when our WA Alumni take on the faculty for our annual co-ed basketball game. Winners get bragging rights and the Lion Knockout Trophy for a year.
