While a few Homecoming traditions were put on hold this year due to COVID, school spirit was on full display through decorated hallways and dress-up days. The Homecoming football game was an eventful one, as a limited crowd joined us at the west campus Athletic Complex to cheer on the Lions as they took on the Saint Andrews School Scots. This year, our goal for the Annual Fund is to raise $500,000 to invest in people, strengthen programs, and enhance places on our campuses. Combined with tuition, donations support every student, every teacher, every day. Our Annual Fund Drive was a great success! The Westminster Academy High School Christmas Spectacular, “Night of Miracles,” will be held in person and socially distanced on Tuesday, December 8, at 7:00 p.m. in the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church Sanctuary. This new Christmas Concert will include performances from the choir, band, and orchestra. Families of all ages will be incredibly blessed to hear and see this beautiful concert celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior. Familiar songs such as O Holy Night and the Nutcracker will be heard, and a medley of songs called Christmas on Broadway. Register now for the 9th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Southern Painting on Friday, December 11, at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! The entire event, including meals, takes place in the fresh air, and COVID safety precautions will be followed. Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty BBQ lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate!
