Our Lions are off to a strong start this fall! From exciting wins to standout individual performances, our teams are building momentum across the season. Football: The Lions are 3–0 with wins over Somerset Prep (55–28), Coral Shores (42–20), and Glades Day (44–10). Next up: Friday, September 18, at 7 p.m. at Master's Academy of Vero Beach. We are looking forward to another exciting year in athletics at Westminster Academy. We are offering stadium-style box seating in the gymnasium and football stadium to support the Basketball, Cheer, Football, and Volleyball programs. This unique seating is an excellent opportunity to support our athletic programs and provide a comfortable, unique experience for our families and fans. There are 48 box seats in the football stadium and another 48 box seats in the gymnasium. Join us tomorrow night, Friday, August 21, at the West Campus Athletic Complex for the Back-to-School Tailgate and Varsity Football Kickoff Classic! Bring the whole family for food, fun, and plenty of Lion spirit as we kick off the new school year together. Tailgate begins at 6:00 p.m., with food trucks and WA concessions available, followed by kickoff at 7:00 p.m. as the Lions take on Somerset Prep. DJ Gaines: Florida Dairy Farmer's 2A Men's Basketball Player of the Year Westminster Academy celebrates a historic moment in athletics as junior guard D.J. Gaines has been named the Florida Dairy Farmers 2026 Class 2A Player of the Year. He also earned First Team All-County honors from both the Sun Sentinel and Miami Herald. Gaines led his team with an outstanding season, averaging 30.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.
