We loved seeing so many families come out for the Back-To-School Tailgate to support the Varisty Lions Football Team! Special thanks to the Lions Parent Association for decorating cars and welcoming families. The Lions Football Team kicked off their season with a 13–12 victory over the Palm Beach Prep Sharks last Friday night. We are looking forward to a great season! We are looking forward to another exciting year in athletics at WA. We will be selling the stadium-style box seating in the gymnasium and football stadium to help raise funds for the basketball, cheer, football, and volleyball programs. This unique seating is an excellent opportunity to help raise extra funds for our athletic programs and provide a comfortable and unique athletic experience for our parents, grandparents, and fans. There are forty-eight box seats in the stadium and another forty-eight box seats in the gymnasium. While a few Homecoming traditions were put on hold this year due to COVID, school spirit was on full display through decorated hallways and dress-up days. The Homecoming football game was an eventful one, as a limited crowd joined us at the west campus Athletic Complex to cheer on the Lions as they took on the Saint Andrews School Scots.
