Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the 49th Annual Florida Christian College Fair. Twenty-eight Christian colleges from across the nation were set up to visit with our students and students from other area high schools in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers. Often, the college representatives who visit are the ones who are reading through applications, so this opportunity to connect can make a significant impact. WA is honored to host this annual event! The Lions Parent Association (LPA) supports the mission of the school by building community through opportunities to connect and cultivate relationships, promoting volunteerism, and fostering school spirit. Last week, we hosted our fall Lions Parent Association kickoff. We had a great turnout and enjoyed connecting with our amazing WA community. Join us this Friday, August 16, at 6:00 p.m. for the Varsity Football Kickoff Classic and Back-to-School Tailgate at the West Campus Athletic Complex. The Lions Varsity Football Team will take on the Somerset Academy Key Lions with the game kickoff at 7:00 p.m. There will be fun for the whole family! Be sure to come hungry—food will be available from food trucks, and the Lions Athletic Club Concessions Stand will be open. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted. The Lions Athletic Club (LAC) offers WA Parent 2’ x 3’ Banners for $500 for the 2024–25 academic year on the east or west campus. 100% of the proceeds will be used to support athletics.
