Congratulations to our WA District 7 Thespian Troupe 8570 for their outstanding performances at the 2024 Florida State Thespian competition in Tampa. We are excited to announce that all high school students who performed received an excellent or superior rating! In addition to their performance pieces, the students participated in various workshops and watched two fabulous mainstage performances of Newsies and The Miracle Worker. Congratulations to our WA Junior Thespian Troupe, who recently participated in the Orlando Florida State Junior Thespian competition. Our students shined for God’s glory throughout the competition! Two of our sixth graders in the technical categories submitted costume designs and presented their ideas to judges from prestigious theater companies. Another presented his stage set design to a panel of judges, including a Disney Cruise Line stage productions director. For the performance events, our students competed in improvisation, large and small group musicals, and solo events, judged by a panel of Broadway singers and New York producers.
