16 Apr Campus-Wide Celebration of Spiritual Emphasis Week and Holy Week
WA marked Holy Week with a powerful, campus-wide Spiritual Emphasis Week—a time set apart for reflection, worship, and growing deeper in our faith as a school community.
In the Upper School, students experienced dynamic worship led by the guest band, Worship Serve. They heard impactful messages from an incredible lineup of speakers who challenged and inspired them to live boldly for Christ:
- Desmond Cook – FCA Multi-Area Director, Miami Dolphins & FAU Football Chaplain
- Jack Brewer – Former NFL Captain, CEO of The Brewer Group, and national media contributor
- John Brown – Former NFL wide receiver known for his record-breaking rookie season
- Dr. Tim Sansbury – Professor of Theology & Philosophy and Provost at Knox Theological Seminary
Our Lower School and PREP students also participated in their own meaningful chapel services, featuring:
- Dr. Ron Farrar – Upper School Principal and Assistant Headmaster
- Will Buschman (‘12) – WA alumnus sharing his testimony and lessons in faith
Throughout the week, our youngest students celebrated Easter joyfully with egg hunts, classroom devotions, and ending with meaningful Prayer Buddy time tomorrow—building lasting relationships and reinforcing the message of Jesus’ Resurrection.
We’re so thankful for this Spirit-filled week and the way it brought our entire campus together under the hope and truth of the Gospel. He is risen indeed!
