15 May Celebrating the Arts at WA—Spring Recap
What a season of creativity, talent, and worship at Westminster Academy! Our students used their God-given gifts to inspire, uplift, and glorify God through the arts in powerful and meaningful ways.
Choir, Band & Orchestra Concerts
Westminster Academy’s spring concert season showcased the incredible talent and dedication of our Fine Arts students through choir, string, band, and jazz performances. Each concert reflected the hard work, creativity, and joy of students as they used their gifts for God’s glory.
A special highlight of the season was sophomore Jamil Boctor’s original composition, Electric Pulverization, which premiered during the concert and earned him the WA Maestro’s Composition Award.
Congratulations to all of our student musicians, directors, and families on a memorable concert season!
FAU and WA Jazz Concert
Westminster Academy’s jazz program partnered with the FAU Jazz Band for an inspiring evening of music, mentorship, and collaboration. The night opened with a strong performance by WA’s JBII ensemble, featuring primarily middle school students who impressed with their energy and musical maturity.
Inaugural All-School Juried Art Show
Westminster Academy’s inaugural All-School Art Show was a wonderful celebration of student creativity and artistic talent. The response to the event was outstanding, with a full turnout and an enthusiastic show of support from our community. Families and guests enjoyed an evening of student artwork, live demonstrations, music, and conversation while hearing directly from students about the inspiration behind their work. Thank you to our Fine Arts Department, student artists, and volunteers who helped make this first-ever event such a meaningful success.
