Fine Arts students have been active this quarter around the state! The 6th–8th-Grade Band and Orchestra students enjoyed a unique performance from The New World Symphony at their performing arts center in Miami Beach, the New World Center for the Arts. Students were inspired by these accomplished musicians and challenged in their musical education through instructional activities woven throughout the performance. We are excited to share two great opportunities next week to take in the talent of the Westminster Academy Fine Arts students. On Tuesday, January 23, join us in the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church Sanctuary at 7:00 p.m. for the Festival of the Arts. You will experience performances from the band, orchestra, choirs, drama, art, and broadcasting. It will be a wonderful time for all ages, so invite your friends and family! Junior Thespians in grades 6-8 competed in the District competition and received 8 Superiors and 12 Excellent ratings from the judges! They participated in multiple events showcasing their acting, singing, design skills, and overall performance abilities.
