Sponsor Or Register For The BBI Sporting Clay Tournament!

Register now for the 6th Annual WA Sporting Clay Tournament presented by BBI on Friday, December 1, at Quail Creek Plantation in Okeechobee. Warm-up and breakfast begin at 9:00 a.m. and tournament play will start at 10:00 a.m. Teams take a golf cart around a course of fourteen stations with each participant shooting at four clay pigeons per station. Lunch and the awards ceremony will follow the tournament at 1:00 p.m. If you do not own a shotgun, you will be able to rent one from Quail Creek.

All skill levels are welcome to participate! The registration fee is $300 per shooter or $1,100 for a foursome. Our participant gift this year is a dry-fit long sleeve shirt, so we ask that you please register by Monday, November 20, to ensure you receive the appropriate shirt size. All proceeds will be designated for the student financial assistance fund. Sponsorship opportunities begin at $200 and provide great marketing exposure to our school community. Christmas at Coral Ridge

From O Holy Night to White Christmas, this concert is full of holiday favorites for the whole family. The eighty voice Concert Choir, angelic Coral Ridge youth choirs and symphony orchestra, led by Matthew McMurrin, will surround you in the glorious sounds of Christmas. Featured soloists will include the talented Kerrie Roberts and Bernie Gonzalez. This concert event, complete with a live nativity, is at the top of everyone’s Christmas list! Make Christmas at Coral Ridge a part of your Christmas tradition today!

Children 18 and under are free, as well as students with a valid Student ID.

Christmas Boutique This Weekend!

Screen Shot 2017-10-19 at 2.55.47 PMThe 38th Annual Christmas Boutique is finally here this Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4. Over 90 local artists, crafters, and retail vendors share their high-quality, handcrafted and non-handcrafted gifts, unique home and holiday décor, jewelry, woodworking, clothing, and other specialty items. Enjoy the spectacular Bakery & Candy Shoppe and visit the Kid’s Korner which features our youngest entrepreneurs promoting their skills, products, services, or crafts.

Admission is $5, and children are free. Complimentary parking.

Times:

  • Friday, November 3, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 4, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will be available to receive your baked goods during the lower school pickup at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 or during morning drop-off at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3. You may also deliver your baked items directly to the Kennedy Fellowship Hall on Friday morning. Sexual Abuse Prevention Workshop

TreesofhopesignatureThe Sexual Abuse Prevention Workshop presented by Trees of Hope will be held Thursday, November 16, in the Sanctuary at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Join us as we learn more about the startling statistics regarding sexual abuse, and what you can do as parents to help protect our children. Ninety percent of sexual abuse is preventable through teaching and training. Trees of Hope firmly believes in order to stop sexual abuse from destroying a person’s life, we must start with training the parents of a child so they can safeguard them from ever experiencing it in the first place.

The cost is $10.00 per person for materials. You may register at the door or online at treesofhope.org.

The annual Christmas Boutique is quickly approaching on Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4. The Parent Teacher Fellowship is seeking Screen Shot 2017-10-19 at 2.55.47 PMvolunteers to set-up and bakers to help whip up some yummy treats for the Bakery & Candy Shoppe! Please sign up online to get involved. Select November 2 to sign up for baking and indicate in the comment section what you will bring. Volunteers will be available to receive your baked goods during drop off during the elementary pickup at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 2 or during morning drop-off at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, November 3.
