16 Nov Dr. Alveda King Visits Campus!
We were honored to welcome Dr. Alveda King to our campus last week. Dr. King is the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. She is an author, speaker, and activist with a passion for the pro-life cause. Dr. King serves as a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Faith & Culture and is the Chair of the Center for the American Dream at America First Policy Institute.
Dr. King shared with our students through a question-and-answer forum with Dr. Satterly in our Upper School Chapel. Afterward, she had lunch with our student ambassadors and leadership team. Later in the afternoon, she spoke to a few PREP students about the sanctity of life while filming material for her new curriculum.
We are grateful for the strong partnership with Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and the Institute for Faith & Culture, which makes it possible for our students to hear directly from such an outstanding speaker!
