As we approach the end of the school year, we are excited to share that we have several student-athletes extending their seasons! Varsity Softball won Districts for the second consecutive year—defeating Highlands Christian in the semifinals 15–0 and Miami Country Day in the Finals 17–0. They recently won the Regional Quarterfinal game to advance to the Regional Semifinals. Varsity Baseball also won Districts for the second consecutive year. They defeated The Sagemont School in a 6–2 battle and then defeated Sagemont again and more decisively in the Regional Quarterfinals 14–4 and will play in the Regional Semifinals on Saturday, May 14. We are proud to announce that Julian Camejo signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Montreat College! Congratulations are also in order to the Ladies’ Water Polo team as they captured the District Championship Title and move forward to Regionals. Our Varsity Lions Soccer teams both shared successful 2020-2021 seasons highlighted by their District and Regional titles. The teams earned the privilege of hosting their State Semifinal games on Friday, February 26, against The Canterbury School from Fort Myers. Although the Lions came up short, it does not take away from the memorable and impressive seasons they had. The Lady Lions finished their season with a 12-5-2 record with big victories over The King's Academy, Calvary Christian, and the South Florida Heat.
