Get ready for an exciting week of school spirit as we celebrate Winter Court! Students will enjoy dress-up days, creative hallway decorations, the Winter Court representatives’ presentation in the Upper School chapel, and a spirited pep rally on Friday. The week culminates with the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, as we take on Somerset Key. Calling all alumni! WA Athletics continues to shine with energy and enthusiasm! Over the Christmas break, our Lions showcased their talents and competitive spirit, excelling across multiple sports and tournaments. Men’s Basketball Our Men’s team competed in the prestigious City of Palms Tournament in Fort Myers and the King Cotton Classic in Arkansas. Over the break, Alex Lloyd hit an incredible milestone, scoring his 2,000th career point—congratulations, Alex! Ladies’ Basketball The Lady Lions played at the Cherokee Invitational in North Carolina and the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational, facing high-level teams nationwide.
