Our Ladies’ Soccer team advanced to the Regional Semifinals and lost a close match against the True North Classical Titans 0-2. They got stronger as the season went on and had a solid postseason finish as District Runner-Ups. The Ladies’ Basketball team won the Regional Quarterfinals last night, so they will advance to the Regional Semifinals, which will be played on Monday, February 19, at 7:00 p.m. at Somerset Prep North Lauderdale. We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. All festivities lead to the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, against Taravella High School. There have been some exciting moments in WA athletics as we said “goodbye” to 2023 and “hello” to 2024. The Lions Competitive Cheer team won their division at the National Christian Cheerleading Championships in Orlando! It’s been nine years since WA’s last competitive cheer competition, and we’re so proud of their strong first season!
