We’re excited to launch this year’s Annual Fund Drive, October 27–31! Our theme, “Chart the Course Today. Impact Generations Tomorrow,” reminds us that together we can build on WA’s strong foundation while investing in the future. The Annual Fund supports the margin of excellence that defines the WA experience—people, programs, and places. From partial tuition assistance and faculty support to athletics, fine arts, robotics, and campus improvements, every gift makes a difference. Registration is now open for the 14th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Big Time Adventure on Friday, December 5, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. All skill levels are welcome to participate! Minors must be accompanied by a participating parent. The registration fee is $400 per shooter, $1600 per foursome, and student entry is $200. Our sixth-grade students began the school year with an exciting spiritual retreat at Treetop Trekking Miami and Tigertail Recreation Center! From ziplines and trekking courses to kayaking, canoeing, and water challenges, the day was packed with adventure, fun, and fellowship. Guided by our theme, “Chart the Course,” Mr. Ben Langley led morning devotions from Colossians 3:1-3, reminding students that their true identity is found in Christ: “your real life is hidden with Christ in God.” In the afternoon, he spoke about Jesus’ identity, shared the gospel, and explained how each student can receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.
