Registration is now open for the 14th Annual Westminster Academy Sporting Clay Tournament presented by Big Time Adventure on Friday, December 5, at Quail Creek Sporting Ranch in Okeechobee. Spend the day in the great outdoors! Participants will enjoy a country breakfast, then take aim at clay pigeons on a 14-station course, and end the event with a hearty lunch. We are thrilled to announce that Westminster Academy has officially acquired the remaining 48 years of the adjacent La Quinta property land lease! This generational milestone is a testament to God’s provision and the faithful support of our WA community. This acquisition expands our campus footprint, strengthens safety, and creates opportunities for future academic, athletic, and early childhood facilities. Westminster Academy partnered with Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church to bring this long-held vision to life, which was approved during a special congregational meeting held this past May. Westminster Academy is blessed to have Mr. Matt Calderin leading our Fine Arts program. A Hollywood, Florida native, Mr. Calderin began playing drums at age five and was already performing professionally by thirteen. At sixteen, he was recognized in DownBeat Magazine as a Gold and All-Star award winner before earning a full scholarship to the University of Miami School of Music.
