This year, Westminster Academy honors beloved faculty and staff whose faithful service has helped shape the life of our school community. At the center of this year’s farewells is Coach Jeff Smith, WA’s longest-serving teacher, who retires after 48 years of dedicated service. Westminster Academy joined believers across the nation in observing the National Day of Prayer on May 7, centered on this year’s theme, “Glorify God Among The Nations—Seeking Him In All Generations.” (1 Chronicles 16:24). Across campus, students from PK4 through grade 12 gathered in prayer, with younger students paired alongside upper school students for a meaningful time of worship and intercession. Together, they prayed for the church and school, the military, the city, the nation, its leaders, and the world. It was a powerful reminder that prayer is not just something we teach at Westminster Academy—it is something we do together....
