We are excited to announce the new FACTS Family App. Available for both iOS and Android, the app is a great way to have quick access to important information that you would normally find in the FACTS Family Portal—grades, homework, billing, school calendars, and more. Search for Westminster Academy in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Be sure to allow notifications, create a profile, and select your interests. Each year, the Broward County Non-Public School Association honors exceptional students. The Pinnacle Award recognizes students who set an example in their actions at home, in school, and in the community. Our awesome WA Junior Thespians spent last weekend in Orlando at the Florida State Junior Thespian Festival. These talented 6th–8th-grade students attended performance workshops, then competed in multiple events to showcase their acting, singing, and overall performance abilities. To qualify to attend the State Festival, they first had to compete and receive a high enough score at the District level, which happened locally in November. At that competition, nine of our performance and technical theater “events” scored in that range, so those events are what the students then presented in Orlando. The 2022 spring sports season is almost here, with tryouts and start dates just around the corner. Every student-athlete must have a completed athletic physical form turned in before trying out.
