This fall, our Advancement Team launched our Student Ambassador Program. These high school students serve the office of the Headmaster and the Advancement Team, representing Westminster Academy on campus and in our community. Upper school students heard from renowned author and speaker Tony Reinke in chapel. He addressed technology, cell phones, social media, and their impact on our lives. Tony Reinke is an author, non-profit journalist, and senior teacher for Desiring God—an international ministry with 14,000+ free resources and 3.5 million+ monthly users started by John Piper. Recently, Westminster Academy hosted the Christian College Fair. There were 32 Christian colleges from across the nation set up to visit with our students in the James F. Lindsay Gymnasium. Juniors and seniors spoke with college representatives to learn what each school offers. Often, the college representatives who visit are the ones who are reading through applications, so this opportunity to connect can make a significant impact.
