Fine Arts closes out the 2021–22 school year with a magnificent performance of Cinderella, presented by Journey Kids Dental! Over 1,200 seats were sold over four performances. Our students truly shine in the spotlight, from the magnificent singing to the incredible choreography, fantastic acting, and gorgeous costumes. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association has been rescheduled for Friday, April 29, due to weather conditions on the prior date. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. The drift boat is full, however, private boat entry is still available. Every year, Boosterthon puts the “fun” in fundraising. While the Lower School Fun Run held on February 17 was, in fact, fun, it was also a huge success and raised over $60,000, which sets a new record! These funds will help provide playground enhancements that will be completed over the summer. Students from PK2 through fifth grade spent two weeks getting pledges and receiving prizes. In addition, students built up their character. The event culminated on the field with the run, and older students got an extra special treat—a color run! We are excited about the fun-filled summer we’ve planned for our campers in preschool through elementary! Registration is now open for our Preschool & Elementary Camps and WA Sports Camp. Camp WA offers a wide range of structured activities that are age-appropriate and loads of fun!
