WA Athletics continues to shine with energy and enthusiasm! Over the Christmas break, our Lions showcased their talents and competitive spirit, excelling across multiple sports and tournaments. Men’s Basketball Our Men’s team competed in the prestigious City of Palms Tournament in Fort Myers and the King Cotton Classic in Arkansas. We are very proud of our WA Athletes. Here is a recap from the 2024 Fall Season: Cheer: The Lions Cheer team packed a full schedule all fall, leading into the Winter season with Sideline Cheer while also diving into Competition practices. Welcome to the 2024-2025 winter athletic season! Below, you will find a list of the winter sport tryout dates and contact information for each coach. Bus transportation will be offered to and from the west campus athletic complex for student-athletes daily and will depart the east campus at 3:15 p.m. Also, we have transitioned to a new online platform this year called PRIVIT for our athletic physical documentation. Every student-athlete must have a PRIVIT account with all documents signed and submitted electronically, an ImPACT test, and three NFHS certificates (Heat Illness, Concussion in Sports, and Sudden Cardiac Arrest) before they try out.
