Westminster Academy Spelling Bee Winners

This week our 6th through 8th-grade students competed in our annual spelling bee. Seventh-grade student, Olivia Faber, won the bee and will represent Westminster Academy at the Miami Herald/Scripps National Spelling Bee for Broward County next year. Nicholas Sirois (also in 7th grade) was the runner-up, followed by 8th-grade student Daniel Pucé.
Last month, we held our 4th and 5th-grade spelling bee. The students were well-prepared and excited to show their spelling expertise. After 13 rounds and 147 words of intense competition, Siri Deenah won the spelling bee. Siri will represent Westminster Academy in the Miami Herald/Scripps National Spelling Bee for Broward County next year. Samuel Harms placed second, and Caleb Carisma came in third place.
