25 Aug Lions Parent Association Kick-Off—September 16
Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Thursday, September 16, at 8:15 a.m. in the Kennedy Fellowship Hall. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time.
The LPA serves as the primary means of parental involvement and works to strengthen the home and school link. The LPA is organized to provide flexibility and sharing of responsibilities to maximize parental involvement as a key element of school culture. There is a wide range of opportunities that vary with interest, skill, and time. By having a child at WA, you are already a member of the LPA, and we welcome and encourage your input.
Light refreshments will be provided, so please email lpa@wa.edu to let them know you will be attending so they can plan accordingly.
