Uniform Information

Attention lower school parents: Due to production delays caused by COVID-19, the new piped polo shirt for preschool through 5th-grade boys will not be available until the first week of September. If you were unable to obtain used uniform shirts from the LPA uniform bank, your son may wear a red, white, or blue shirt or a WA spirit shirt until inventory arrives.

Westminster Academy is a uniformed school to ensure the modesty and neatness of its students and to allow all students the freedom to be themselves apart from the stress of competition in attire. Risse Brothers School Uniforms provides school uniforms for Westminster Academy. Risse Brothers offers department store sizing and the convenience of a local store with on-hand inventory as well as convenient online shopping. In addition to the general guidelines listed in the Family Handbook, the following are included:

  • WA outerwear can be purchased on campus in the WA Spirit Store.
  • PE uniforms for boys and girls (shirts and shorts) are to be purchased at the WA Spirit Store. Athletic tennis shoes are required for PE classes as well.
  • Footwear for boys and girls should consist of regular dress shoes (i.e., closed-toe with a fullback, not straps) or athletic shoes appropriate in design, color, and condition that enhance the total uniform. Boys in grades PK–12 and girls in grades PK–5 are to wear socks at all times in school colors, which are red, white, and blue. Sandals, crocs, heelies, or rail shoes are not permitted.

During COVID-19, level 3 operating guidelines, the Uniform Bank will be closed. However, you may request items via email at lpa@wa.edu. If they are available, they will be packaged and available for pick-up at the Welcome Center and you will be notified when they are ready. Please plan to allow three days for orders to be fulfilled.
