We’re excited to launch Discover After-School Enrichment Clubs for Lower School and PREP students this quarter—led by our faculty and staff! These weekly clubs provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, social skills, and personal growth. Clubs meet once a week from 3:00–4:00 p.m., August 25–October 3. Pick-up is from 4:00–4:30 p.m. via the 22nd Ave car line. Registration opens Tuesday, August 19, at noon at wa.edu/discover. At Westminster Academy, springtime means it’s time to celebrate the incredible fathers in our community—and what a joyful season it’s been! We kicked things off with our annual PK3 “Dine & Dash with Dad”, where students shared breakfast, laughs, and the legendary “Pop See Ko” dance! Watching our little ones teach their dads the moves was truly a highlight of the spring! Next up, our PK2 classes hosted an early Father’s Day celebration with crafts, songs, and sweet treats. For 36 years, Westminster Academy’s PK4 students have proudly participated in the beloved Red, White, and Blue Bike Parade in honor of Veterans Day. This longstanding tradition allows our youngest students to celebrate the day in a meaningful way, decorating their bikes with patriotic stars, stripes, and American flags before riding through the Lower School hallways and gym. We are excited to offer Discover After-School Enrichment Clubs led by our very own faculty and staff for the first quarter. The clubs are designed to provide a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for Lower School and PREP students after the regular school day ends. Through these clubs, we seek to enhance the educational experience by offering a variety of engaging activities that provide academic support, physical activity, and personal growth.
