Get ready for an exciting week of school spirit as we celebrate Winter Court! Students will enjoy dress-up days, creative hallway decorations, the Winter Court representatives’ presentation in the Upper School chapel, and a spirited pep rally on Friday. The week culminates with the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, as we take on Somerset Key. Calling all alumni! Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Friday, September 6, at 8:00 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time. We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association was held on Friday, March 31! Thirteen boats participated, along with 31 anglers on the drift boat! Special thanks to LPA Co-Chair Christy LaCaria and our Mane Event Team Co-Leaders, Mark Scott and Joe Jernigan, for planning the event and Trae West at Big Dog Tackle for his assistance with logistics and coordinating the weigh-in. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association is coming up on Friday, March 31. Please register by Friday, March 17, to receive a long sleeve performance shirt (UPF 50+).
