Do you want to get more involved this year? Join the Lions Parent Association (LPA) for our Kick-Off on Friday, September 6, at 8:00 a.m. in the DeVos Chapel. You will have the opportunity to meet the LPA leadership team and learn more about how you can get involved. We will end promptly at 9:15 a.m. to honor your time. We’re looking forward to a week of school spirit in honor of Winter Court with dress-up days, hallway decorations, the Winter Court representative’s presentation in the Upper School chapel, and Friday’s pep rally. All festivities lead to the Winter Court Men’s Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, against Taravella High School. The Fishing Tournament presented by the Lions Parent Association was held on Friday, March 31! Thirteen boats participated, along with 31 anglers on the drift boat! Special thanks to LPA Co-Chair Christy LaCaria and our Mane Event Team Co-Leaders, Mark Scott and Joe Jernigan, for planning the event and Trae West at Big Dog Tackle for his assistance with logistics and coordinating the weigh-in. The Lions Parent Association will host a fishing tournament on Friday, March 31. The tournament will begin at 7:30 a.m. from the Hillsboro Inlet. Weigh-ins will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, followed by an awards ceremony at 4:00 p.m. You may use your own boat or join us on a drift boat that will be available.
