09 Oct A Word from Dr. Satterly—October 9, 2025
Dear WA Community,
Everyone loves a good story—and yesterday, you got to be part of one.
If you were on campus yesterday, you helped write the next chapter in the Westminster Academy story. DEMO Day was a moment to celebrate God’s faithfulness, pray together as a school family, and look ahead with anticipation to what He will do through the expansion of our North Campus. In a world where everything seems to be hyped, real moments can be hard to spot. But this was one of them—a milestone worth marking and remembering.
As our entire school gathered on the property that has been prayed over for decades, we were reminded that God is the true Author of our story—faithfully leading Westminster Academy from one chapter to the next since 1971. Our prayer echoes Psalm 78:6: “so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children.”
If you’re wondering how we arrived at this point in the story, here’s the “cliff notes” version. At our recent fall gathering of the ’71 Society, we shared a special video tracing the journey from our founding to this exciting new season of growth and opportunity. It’s a story of God’s provision, the generosity of our community, and the shared vision to equip the next generation to impact the world for Christ.
