15 May Sixth Grade Visits Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and the Kennedy Space Center!
Our sixth-grade students had an unforgettable two-day adventure at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure and the Kennedy Space Center!
Day one kicked off with the Jurassic World VelociCoaster Ride Design Program, where students became real-world engineers, brainstorming, designing, and creating their attraction concepts. Afterward, they enjoyed the thrills of the parks with their friends! Students incorporated their ideas to plan, design, and build roller coasters in class as a culminating activity.
Day two took them to the Kennedy Space Center, where they explored America’s space history, stood under the towering Saturn V rocket, touched a moon rock, and experienced incredible exhibits like the Space Shuttle Atlantis and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame. It was a memorable experience for our sixth-grade students, strengthening community and creating lasting friendships—a powerful reminder that some of the best learning happens beyond the classroom!
