Save The Date For The Spring Play—Sponsorship Opportunity

December 14, 2017 Posted in: Arts Tags:

You-Cant-Take-it-With-You-LogoSave the date for this year’s play of You Can’t Take It With You, a fast-paced comedic story of a zany family in the late 1930s. This family and the eccentric friends that live with them do not conform to what is considered the typical family constructs and instead march to the beat of their own drum collecting snakes, making fireworks in the cellar, composing outrageous plays, and a plethora of other odd hobbies. They do not concern themselves with joining the workforce or paying taxes. However, when their daughter, Alice, joins a big company and falls in love with the CEO’s son, Tony, the meeting of the polar opposite families becomes an awkward and explosive situation!

We have an opening for a presenting sponsor that includes great exposure for businesses. The sponsorship is $5000, and the deliverables include exposure on social media, the weekly eNews, logo on play shirts, full-color ad on the back cover of the playbill, and more. This is our only sponsorship that includes radio promotion. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity or other sponsor levels for this event, please contact Sarah Hajduk, Director of Development at hajduks@wa.edu or 954.771.4615, ext. 2504.

unnamed-1For the past three years, we have had students representatives at the Florida Atlantic University side-by-side orchestral performance (David Hong, Alyssa Babaian, and Olivia Gaus). This auditioned event takes qualified students to perform alongside members of the FAU orchestra which is directed by Dr. Laura Joella. Dr. Joella and Professor Cornelia Brubeck, who leads the cello faculty at FAU, visited the Concert Orchestra for a masterclass. She worked with the orchestra on music that we will perform on their trip to Ireland in the spring.
